Park Avenue in front of the Knott House Museum boasts a 1940s-style block party on Saturday, October 19. Enjoy dancing at sunset under Park Avenue’s majestic live oaks in front of the Knott House. Relive the 1940s and come in costume if you wish! Dance lessons by the Florida State University Swing Dance Club start at 6:30 p.m., the Tallahassee Swing Band plays at 7:00 p.m. and museum tours are offered during intermission. Light refreshments will be available in the park, or you can bring a picnic.
