Join us for a free workshop and lecture by Puerto Rican bomba ensemble Taller Balancé Bomba Afro-Boricua. Featured as the 2019 Artists-in-Residence, master barrel-maker Angel Reyes and Taller Balancé will share the fundamentals of bomba as well as the cultural background and historical significance of the style. Audience participation is highly encouraged!
