Join instructor Eliza Schneider-Green for a workshop on how to create beautiful hand lettered pieces!
This workshop will cover the basics of hand-lettering, using gouache (a paint similar to watercolor but with deeper pigment) and a brush.
You will learn beginner techniques for cursive and block lettering, as well as develop a unique font based on your natural handwriting. Rather than seeing lettering as a tool for communication, you will learn to view it as a form of art, as you practice slowing down and treating each letter as an individual painting. Walk out with a deeper appreciation for hand-lettering and with a new skill that you can apply to your daily life - from letter-writing to note-taking to art-making!
Registration is available now via our website, by phone, or in person at LeMoyne Arts. We ask you register prior to the workshop as spots are limited.
