The FSU College of Music presents Daniel Rowland, tuba, on Saturday, September 28 at 4pm in Longmire Recital Hall. Admission to this performance is free and open to the public.
Daniel Rowland is an active educator and performer. Currently, Dr. Rowland is Assistant Professor of Low Brass & Music Education at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, where he also performs with the faculty chamber group Ensemble Nouveau. Previously Dr. Rowland was Lecturer of Tuba/Euphonium at Valdosta State University, where he was also principal tubist of several regional orchestras.
Daniel grew up in New Windsor, IL and now resides in Platteville, WI. Dr. Rowland received his DM in Tuba Performance from The Florida State University. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education at Millikin University and his Master of Arts in Music from the University of Northern Iowa.
