Identity in the Ottoman Empire

Presented by Museum of Fine Arts at FSU at Museum of Fine Arts, Florida State University

An exploration of the diverse ethnic and religious identities that coexisted in the Ottoman Empire (ca. 1300-1922). Architecture, period photography, stamps, textiles, calligraphy, illustrated documents, and interactive displays will bring to life this vast and complex period in world history.

There will be an evening reception on Friday, August 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and we hope you will join us!

The Museum is pleased to announce new hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. Beginning with the Fall semester, we will have extended hours on Thursdays until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday hours from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Museum will be closed on Sundays. Admission is always FREE!

Parking Info

ParkMobile pay-to-park is available on the main and lower levels of the Call Street Garage. Visitors may park in any legal space after 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays and all day on Saturdays. Visitors to the Museum are encouraged to wear masks.
