A fundraiser evening filled with jazz and blues standards, plus a full bar, raffle, and more!
The Monticello Opera House is proud to present "An Evening of Jazz," featuring standard jazz and blues tunes from the Great American Songbook. Some of your favorite tunes will be performed by our local performers with a live band, including "Anything Goes," "Orange Colored Sky," "Cheek to Cheek," "New York, New York," "Fly Me To The Moon," and many others! Lights snacks will be provides, as well as a full bar* (cash/debit/credit accepted).
Proceeds will go directly toward the replacement of our electric keyboard for our musical rehearsals and performances. Additional proceeds beyond that replacement will go toward purchasing additional rehearsal equipment, such as music stands, stand lights, chairs, and more.
Performers include: Chelsea Ealum, Jon Mathes, Lizzy McCawley, and Santos Sanchez.
*Must be 21 to purchase alcohol.

There is plenty of street parking around the building on all sides. There is also a large city lot across from the courthouse. After hours (after 5 pm) the Monticello News allows us to make use of their lot. Street parking around the back of the building is also available.
