This month’s meeting will discuss obituaries from a genealogical perspective: offering ideas on what to include in an obituary as well as information on writing an obituary (whether for yourself or a loved one).
When you read an obituary in the newspaper, do you think about the person who "put pen to paper"? Do you worry that some of the information is inaccurate because a family member may have been understandably distracted when being asked for the person's place of birth?

The meeting will be held in Program Room A of the downtown public library, 200 W. Park Ave. Sharing time is at 1:30pm and the meeting starts at 2pm.
