You’re invited to our next storytime on July 21st at 2pm when local author Katherine West Eaton will be reading her children’s book, Misguided Katy: Learning Compassion.

Misguided Katy teaches good character traits through the story of Katy’s humorous experiences during her first day back at school. Geared toward kindergarteners to third graders, it is based on Katherine’s childhood growing up in East Tennessee. In the story, Katy was looking forward going back to school and seeing her best friends again, but things don’t go as planned. The teacher assigns Katy’s seat next to the new boy in class and expects her to be a helper to him. Katy learns to have compassion and sets an example for her other friends through this experience. Come out on Sunday and meet Katherine and listen to her read her story!
