Monthly Saturday research hours continue in July with a free genealogy workshop!
The reference room at the State Library and Archives of Florida is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following Saturdays: July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, November 16 and December 7.
We hope this gives our patrons who are unable to visit during the week a chance to catch up on their research.
During the genealogy workshop from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Archivist Bella Folmar will introduce you to the genealogical resources available at the State Archives and State Library, demonstrate how you can use these resources to research your family histories, and take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Archives stacks.
