Literary Night featuring Carol Lynne Knight

Black Dog on the Square is excited to welcome Carol Lynne Knight.

 

Her poetry has appeared in Louisiana Literature, Tar River Review, Comstock Review, Redactions, Iconoclast, So to Speak, The Ledge, Slipstream, Broome Review, and in the anthologies Off the Cuffs (Soft Skull Press), Touched by Eros (Live Poets Society), and Beloved on the Earth, (Holy Cow! Press). She is a winner of the Penumbra Poetry Prize, has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and is a fellow of the Hambidge Center for the Arts. She is the co-editor of Snakebird: Thirty Years of Anhinga Poets.

Born in Traverse City, Michigan, she grew up in South Florida and graduated from the University of Miami and Florida State University. She has exhibited her drawings, pottery, sculpture and digital images throughout the eastern United States. In other lives, she has worked as an art teacher, potter, videographer, copy writer, and graphic designer. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
