Leon County Library Lecture Series Summer Guests
Join Leon County, in partnership with Friends of the Library and Midtown Reader, for an evening with New York Times bestselling author Mary Alice Monroe. Monroe’s wildly popular, richly-textured stories are published worldwide and delve into the complexities of interpersonal relationships and the parallels between the land and life. Leon County Emergency Management will engage attendees on disaster preparedness, emergency communication, and the importance of having an evacuation plan. Admission is free and attendees are encouraged to bring a new or bookstore-quality used summer reading title to donate to the LeRoy Collins Public Library. The author's books will be available on-site for purchase and signing and may be pre-ordered from Midtown Reader.
