Local gathering place and experiential retail store Hearth & Soul proudly shines a spotlight on the iconic Tallahassee theatre, Young Actors Theatre, selecting the non-profit as its charity partner for the month of June 2019. Store founder and community advocate Susie Busch-Transou launched the Hearth & Soul charitable partnership program alongside the opening of the storefront and in the nearly four years since the program’s inception, Hearth & Soul has shined a light on deserving non-profits in our community, raising an impressive $30,000+ for local organizations. In June, Hearth & Soul invites friends to purchase the Sugared Lemon Candle by Himalayan ($40 retail price) and join the store (1410 Market Square) for a special event celebrating the artists of Young Actors Theatre and their June performance of Mamma Mia on June 11th from 5-7 p.m. Complimentary bites and drinks will be provided. Young Actors Theatre is one of the oldest, independent youth theatre programs in the country, celebrating its 43rd consecutive year of training and production.
