Enjoy the magic of chamber music performance when "Building Bridges with Beethoven: Corinne Stillwell and Friends" returns with a concert at 3 PM on Sunday, April 28 at the beautiful Unitarian Universalist Church on North Meridian Road in Tallahassee. This concert is the 5th of a 9-concert series presenting all of Beethoven's 16 String Quartets.

This concert is the inaugural "Music for Food" Tallahassee concert, a musician-led initiative to fight hunger in our communities and will feature two Beethoven string quartets performed by acclaimed Florida State University violin professor Corinne Stillwell in collaboration with advanced FSU students. The pieces will be:

 

String Quartet in A Major, Op. 18 No. 5:

The performers are Corinne Stillwell and Maggie Ernst, violins; Amanda Hamilton, viola; and Todd Humphrey, cello

 

String Quartet in C Major, Op. 59 No. 3:

The performers are Corinne Stillwell and Josefina Guzman, violins; Rebecca Tozzie, viola; and Vincent Leung, cello.

 

Please bring cash or donation of any amount payable to "Music for Food" - non-perishable food donations are also welcomed. All proceeds benefit Second Harvest of the Big Bend food bank. Please visit www.fightinghunger.org to learn more.
