Preservation X Transportation

Presented by The Grove Museum at The Grove Museum

In celebration of Historic Preservation Month and National Bike Month, which run concurrently in May, The Grove Museum is partnering with the Florida Department of Transportation, Tallahassee-Leon County Planning Department, and Leon County Office of Sustainability to offer a free, all-ages event!

Preservation X Transportation will highlight the relationship between alternative transportation and historic preservation in building sustainable communities.

Join us on Saturday, May 11, between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for special walking tours of The Grove Museum and an alternative transportation expo featuring games, activities, prizes, and more!

This event will also serve as the “release party” for a new self-guided bicycle map that celebrates adaptive reuse and historic preservation in Downtown, Midtown, and South Monroe neighborhoods of Tallahassee.

Alternative Transportation Expo: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Walking Tours of The Grove focusing on historic preservation, LEED certification, and sustainable land management: 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM

Parking is located at 902 N. Monroe St.
