Creative Tallahassee 2019

Presented by Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) at City Hall Galleries

Highlighted in this multi-media show is the work of many established and emerging local artists. This highly-anticipated annual, juried exhibition features 58 paintings, drawings, photographs, textiles, and sculptures.

The competition was steep. There were more than 255 individual artworks submitted this year by 81 artists. From those, 55 artists were selected by a special jury to have their work shown in this year’s Creative Tallahassee.

Arthur McBride, Richard McDowell, Lee McHugh, Linda Menke, Tristan Audrey Mor, Yoshiko Murdick, Adieren Narro, Elvi Nichols, Rob Nixon, Kate Piretti, Roger Raepple, Brigette Riley, James Russell, Becki Rutta, Rick Shopfner, Stephen Bennett Smith, NED, Anne Stagg, Will Stone, Mikiko Tanaka, Randy Traynor, Doell West, Sherry Whitney, Tavani Williams, Harris Wiltsher, Kaleigh Wright, and David Wright.

Meet the artists at a public exhibit reception on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the City Hall Art Gallery.  The awards will be announced at 6:30 in the Commission Chambers. There is no charge for the reception or the exhibition.
