If you enjoy hands on learning then come join us for our beginners Blacksmith class scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. central standard time.
Come join us in the art of shaping heated iron and steel (forging) with hand tools such as hammers, tongs and chisels on an anvil.
The cost of the class is $75 with a $25 deposit required to reserve one of the eight spots available for the class. Participants are asked to provide their own safety glasses, leather gloves and wear long pants and long sleeved shirts. This class kicks off the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement's 30th Anniversary.
