Arts for the Community at Thomas University is hosting an exhibit featuring Christopher Johnson’s Press and Relief Woodcuts now through the end of February.
Arts for the Community at Thomas University is currently hosting the press and relief woodcuts of Georgia artist Christopher Johnson. The exhibit is displayed in the Thomas University Art Gallery though February 28th. A closing reception will be held on February 28th at 6PM.
Chris Johnson is originally from South Georgia and currently live in Columbus, GA. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Clemson University in 2008 with an emphasis in printmaking. In 2011, he received his Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in printmaking and drawing from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Johnson's work also features large-scale public murals though out Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He is currently the Assistant Professor of Art at Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA.
