A Public Lecture on Gender, Race, and Intimate Relations During Wartime America, 1941-1945
Join the Institute on World War II and the Human Experience for the annual spring lecture on African American experiences in World War II. This lecture will investigate intimate, romantic, familial and even communal relationships between African American women and men. It will also examine their wartime participation, both military service and home front activities during World War II.
