Come out for our Florida Wildlife Celebration on Saturday, February 23rd from 12pm – 2pm at My Favorite Books with wildlife photographer Jon Johnson and the Florida Wild Mammal Association.
We are featuring Jon Johnson, wildlife photographer and lifelong wildlife rescue advocate. The Florida Wild Mammal Association will also attend with an opportunity for an encounter with an educational animal!
My Favorite Books is thrilled to be featuring Jon Johnson’s photographs and cards in the store! Jon, a lifelong wildlife photographer, naturalist, and director of St. Francis Wildlife Association for almost 30 years, lives in the Black Bear Bayou Subdivision in Carrabelle. This provides Jon with an abundance of opportunities to photograph and interact with the natural world he loves on this secluded 45-acre natural habitat enclave. Join us on Saturday and meet Jon and learn more about his work.
The Florida Wild Mammal Association (FWMA) will attend to provide information about who they are and what they do and will be bringing an educational animal to Saturday’s event. Founded in 1994, FWMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in our North Florida region. FWMA is equally committed to educating the public on wildlife issues. Visit http://fwma.org/ to learn more.
Please share this event and attend our celebration to help support Jon, the FWMA, and the wonderful work they do.
