“Monthly Skies over Tallahassee” is a live show presented by the Tallahassee Astronomical Society and will review prominent constellations, stars, and planet positions in the morning and evening sky.
Come on down to the Downtown Digital Dome Theatre and Planetarium and enjoy a free planetarium show on the first Saturday of every month at 10 a.m.
“MonthlySkies over Tallahassee” is a live show presented by the Tallahassee Astronomical Society and will review prominent constellations, stars, and planet positions in the morning and evening sky.
Arrive early as there are only 128 planetarium seats. However, “Monthly Skies over Tallahassee” will be repeated at 11:00 am for a reduced planetarium price of $3.00 for both children or adults and free for Challenger members.
10:00 am show: FREE
11:00 am show: $3 per person (free for Challenger Learning Center members)
“Monthly Skies over Tallahassee” is also included in the planetarium show schedule during the month at regular price.
The Kleman Parking Garage is the closest public parking garage to the Challenger Learning Center (CLC). It is adjacent to the CLC on Kleman Plaza. Entrances to the Kleman Parking Garage are located on South Duval and South Bronough Streets. The rates are follows:
Additional parking is available at metered street spots and other public lots located throughout downtown Tallahassee.
Buses: Buses should pull into the bus ramp on College Ave. Enter the bus ramp by traveling South on Bronough St. and turning left onto College Ave. The bus ramp will be on the immediate right. The bus ramp is for drop off and pick up only. Parking is available at the Leon County Civic Center (free for Leon County Schools; $35 for all other buses), the Governor’s Square Mall, or in the free parking lot at the corner of Gaines Street and Duval Street.
