Xaris Waltman (Pensacola, FL) has been humming tunes since before she could talk and started writing songs on the guitar since as early as 8-years-old. She fell in love with Folk music at the young age of eleven after buying her first "Peter, Paul, and Mary" album. About a year ago, at eighteen, Xaris jumped into the world of being a traveling musician; just a young girl and her guitar. A self proclaimed Folksinger, her music style falls somewhere between American Folk and Classic Country. According to listeners, Xaris's voice is reminiscent of young Dolly Parton, Allison Krauss, and Joan Baez. Xaris is currently recording an album of Old Folk Songs with BigTone Records out of Bristol, VA. You may recognize Xaris Waltman from Season 13 of NBC's "The Voice".
