We’re eager to bring back poetry and storytelling to the Pavilions at MFB, and we welcome you to come in on Tuesday February 5th beginning at 7:00pm. Sign up on arrival for a ten-minute spot to share your original poetry, prose, or story or bring a selection from your favorite poet/author. Or come make a new friend, and just listen.

Join Grant as he reads selections from his newly published poetry book, My Advice to Pilgrims. There'll be a few songs thrown in the mix too!

“For me, poems are kind of like the AK-47s of writing,” Grant Peeples said in a recent radio interview. “Quick, efficient and potentially lethal.”

And My Advice to Pilgrims released in September 2018 by Mezcalita Press, would seem to represent this view.
