Presented by Florida State University College of Music at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall - Florida State University

The University Symphonic Band presents an evening of masterworks by world-renowned composers on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 pm, in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. The concert includes Intrada by visiting professor of composition and FSU alum Dr. Stephen Montague; works by Ron Nelson and Nancy Bloomer Deussen; and Wine-Dark Sea, a three-movement symphony for band by John Mackey, based on the epic tale of The Odyssey by Homer. Patrick Dunnigan is music director and conductor. This is a subscription series concert.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $10 general admission; $7 seniors/nonFSU students; FSU students free with ID. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact the College of Music Box Office at 645-7949.

Parking Info

General parking is available in the St. Augustine Garage located on the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets, and the Call Street Garage located on corner of Call and Macomb Streets. Accessible parking is available at the North Entrance of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall and along Convocation Way. The accessible entrance drop-off area is located at the north entrance of Ruby Diamond (the roundabout) and may be accessed by Convocation Way. Elevators are available to take patrons to the appropriate floor. Ushers will help direct patrons to the elevators.
