A multi media program where you get to bring watercolor, oils or Acrylics. A great time to Jumpstart Your Art. No Charge to artists damaged by Hurricane Michael / Everyone else Donations will be accepted
In the midst of all the broken trees, busted roofs and muck and mud left by the rains, it is time to find beauty again. The call is for all artists affected by the devastation of Hurricane Michael to come together and rekindle that creative spirit. This workshop focuses on fellowship and fun while painting in watercolor, acrylic or oil
Bring Back the Birds: Participants will use liquid acrylic to develop colorful patterns by pouring, spraying or spattering the medium over paper or canvas. Pigments of watercolor, acrylic or oil can them be painted over these patterns to create a habitat that invites the birds to come back.
With light comes color. Artists enhance that color. A second challenge will focus on the quality of light found only along Florida’s Panhandle – warm or playful or tender. Imagine brilliant backlight on a newly blooming flower. The subject of this painting must come from the heart of each participant as each sees beauty emerging in a different way.2w2
