Opening Nights presents A Movie You Haven't Seen

Presented by Opening Nights at Florida State University at Askew Student Life Cinema

Please join us for our 2016 "A Movie You Haven't Seen" screening + post-show talk with Mill Valley Film Festival Director Mark Fishkin on April 16!

Our TOP SECRET film recently premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festivall. A family-friendly comedy with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, patrons will have the chance to see the film before its official United States release in July 2016. Reviews of the film have called it “a perfectly balanced blend of drama and comedy” and mention its “spectacular scenery” and “sentimentality and silliness.”

Paul Cohen, executive director of FSU’s Torchlight Program and filmmaker-in-residence at the College of Motion Picture Arts, curated “A Movie You Haven’t Seen.” Cohen was instrumental in securing the film as well as the participation of Mark Fishkin, director of the Mill Valley Film Festival in California.

Fishkin will be conducting a number of private workshops with College of Motion Picture Arts students in addition to hosting a post-screening talk on the evening of the film. The Mill Valley Film Festival has established an impressive track record for launching new films as well as the careers of new filmmakers. It is also well-known for the quality of its programming in the past 39 years.

Please note that the movie is currently not rated, and attendance by children under 13 is not recommended due to adult language.
