IRT invites you to join us for an encore performance of George Bernard Shaw’s Don Juan in Hell.
A staged reading, with all of Shaw’s biting satire and witty dialogue, this play will get you thinking. Shaw is known for tackling thorny philosophical issues, and Don Juan will delve into essential life questions, such as good vs. evil, desire vs. propriety, and fulfillment vs. duty.
The veteran cast includes David Guthrie as Lucifer, Lucas Dykes as Don Juan, Ty Wold as The Statue, Pat Carrico as Doña Ana. The play will be produced by Dennis Reilly and directed by Jeff Mandel. Also noteworthy is that the performance will take place at the Blue Tavern on Monroe in Midtown, a new venue to hear the spoken word.
$15. Tickets online at www.tallahasseeirishrep.com, make reservations at (850) 339-4659, or at the door at the Blue Tavern, starting at 1:30 pm. Open Seating.
