Saturday, March 26, is Personal Silent Retreat Day at Unity Eastside Church. The public is invited to participate in this day of silent relaxation and reflection on the church's beautiful property at 8551 Buck Lake Road in Tallahassee. Enjoy your own self-directed spiritual getaway from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Bring your own lunch or snacks. Bottled water will be provided. To enhance this day of silent relaxation and reflection, please leave your electronic devices at home.

After sign-in at 9 a.m., there will be a brief talk on mindfulness. Then, in your own silent, self-directed retreat, you will be free to meditate, pray, wander the property, observe nature, walk the labyrinth, journal, photograph, set up an easel and paint, take a nap in the sun or shade, or picnic in one of the the gazebos. The silence will be broken with a gathering in the sanctuary at 2:45 p.m. You deserve this time to refresh and renew in body, mind, and spirit!
