Tallahassee’s beautiful and historic Goodwood estate is open to the public with FREE admission on November 17th.
The free admission day at Goodwood features:
Free Tours: The Main House is displayed as it appeared around World War I, including original furniture, ephemera, and garments. A new special exhibit “Putting Goodwood on the Map” will also be open for visitors. Tours and exhibits are FREE and open to the public from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Historic Mapping Demonstration: Join Peter Cowdry for a historic mapping presentation in conjunction with Goodwood’s new exhibit “Putting Goodwood on the Map.” This presentation will be held outside Goodwood’s Main House at 11 AM.
Theatrical Performance: Enjoy a theatrical performance connecting history and holidays by Theater with a Mission at 1 PM on Goodwood’s Games Court.
Habitat for Humanity’s Festival of Trees: On Nov. 16th and 17th, Big Bend Habitat for Humanity presents beautiful artificial trees and wreaths for purchase as well as family-friendly festivities, including an early visit from Santa in the Goodwood Carriage House. Under One Roof: Come enjoy a curated collection of clay, glass, jewelry, and enamel works by premier Tallahassee artisans. This art show and sale will be in Jubilee Cottage on Friday November 16th 4:30 PM to 8 PM, Saturday November 17th 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday November 18th 12 PM to 4 PM.
