Gadsden Arts Center’s Summer Art Camp offers six weeks of creative fun with experienced art educators! Children ages 6-12 are invited to explore art mediums inspired by famous artists, art movements, and styles in this half-day camp program. Parents seeking to form a full-day camp may contact the Quincy Music Theatre or Legacy School of Performing Arts for afternoon camps.
The goal of Summer Art Camp is to create a fun, inspiring, and educational program where campers can build skills in the arts. Each camp will feature various projects in different mediums such as drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, clay, assemblage and more!
One-week sessions
Tuition: $65 per week
Campers: Ages 6-12
Teen Aides: Ages 13-17
Week 1: Abstract, Pop, & Op Art, June 13-17, 9am-12pm
Week 2: Cubism to Surrealism, June 20-24, 9am-12pm
Week 3: Impressions, June 27-July 1, 9am-12pm
Week 4: Fiber & Paper Art, July 11-15, 9am-12pm
Week 5: Greek & Roman Art, July 18-22, 9am-12pm
Week 6: Animation & Storytelling, July 25-29, 9am-12pm
Camp Exhibition Reception: Friday, July 29, 5:30-7pm
