Members of the University Symphony Orchestra will join the University Chamber Choir and University Singers in a performance on Friday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Opperman Music Hall. This event is part of the 2018-2019 University Musical Associates Concert Series, and is a ticketed performance.

Under the direction of Alexander Jiménez, the members of the USO will perform Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor, as well as a rarely-heard and beautiful work of English composer George Butterworth, On the Banks of Green Willow. Kevin Fenton will then take the baton in the second half with the orchestra and Chamber Choir to present Triptych by Tarik O'Regan; the University Singers will join the orchestra and choir to perform Into the Light by Jake Runestad.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

The Opperman Music Parking Lot will be open for patron drop off, but parking will be limited due to construction. Patrons will be able to access Opperman Music Hall lobby through the West entrance from the OMH parking lot. The East entry (closest to Copeland St.) is also available for entry and for accessible entry (patron elevator) in the Calloway Courtyard between the music buildings. The sidewalk from the OMH parking lot to the East entry is now open, so if an accessible entry is needed patrons may be dropped off either in the Opperman Lot or come from Copeland Street to proceed to the elevator. Please do not go beyond construction barriers or onto the Terrace due to the presence of construction materials and unsafe walking conditions.
