Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee Downtown will be hosting an Earth Hour event this year on March 19, with live acoustic music, drink and food specials at 6:30 in anticipation of Earth Hour from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. The hotel will be asking all guests to turn off their electricity and join them poolside for chilled tapas and acoustic live music for a special “lights out” session. Earth Hour is a worldwide event. Every year, hundreds of millions of people participate by turning off their lights for one hour on March 19th at 8:30 p.m. to demonstrate a united commitment to climate change action. In a show of worldwide solidarity, Four Points encourages other Tallahassee residents to join them or participate on their own by turning off the lights and illuminating this important global initiative.
