The Cotton Pickin’ Plein Air Paint Out is a relaxing, open-admission arts event held in Boston and Thomasville. Artists and art lovers, master painters, and beginners gather over the weekend to capture the splendor of the deep South in Autumn.
The annual Cotton Pickin Plein Air Paint Out is a four-day event. Over three dozen regional artists join to celebrate the season with street painting, a public reception, a covey Film Festival movie, and camaraderie. Friday and Saturday feature Wet Rooms where the artists display their just-finished work (unframed) at incredible prices. The Event Exhibit and Sale on Sunday, October 21, features all unsold work—beautiful landscapes of our local treasures—held at the Event Center in Boston (236 E. Adams St.) from Noon-3PM.
