March 19th and 20th, 2016, representatives from The Ailey School will be holding a Master Class and audition for Ailey programs, hosted at The Tallahassee Ballet studios.
March 19th and 20th, 2016, representatives from The Ailey School will be holding a Master Class and audition for Ailey programs, hosted at The Tallahassee Ballet studios.
The Master Class will take place Saturday, March 19th at 6 pm, and focus on Lester Horton Technique, the signature style of the Ailey company. This workshop will be lead by Freddie Moore, Faculty Advisor and Horton Instructor at The Ailey School.
The following day from 9 am to 1 pm, dancers will gather from all over the Southeast to audition for slots in three Ailey programs: a Three-year Certificate Program, a One-year Independent Study Program, and their popular Summer Intensive. Dancers can expect both ballet and Horton technique to come into play during the audition.
$30 for both events, or $20 each
