Anna Feil Exhibit “Paradise Found” will be on display at Apalachicola Center for History, Culture and Art, October 20-November 17. Opening reception Saturday, October 20th 6pm-8pm. 86 Water Street, downtown Apalachicola, FL.
Anna Feil is a native of Apalachicola. She lives and works in San Diego, California.
Anna’s work is a dialogue between her imagination, intuition, and imperfections. She likes to think of her paintings as character studies and often finds her inspiration digging through old photographs, magazines, vintage clothing, and antique parlors.
Her paintings are fabricated right out of her imagination and are in a constant state of flux; a beautiful exploration. She creates her own realm of femininity using wax, paint, color, fabric, photographs, and anything else that strikes her fancy. She is best known for her expressive portraits of women. Anna received a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
