Art Exhibit: 500 Years of Printmaking

Presented by Tallahassee Community College (TCC) at Fine and Performing Arts Center

Explore half a millennium of art history in this collection of hand-crafted prints, the oldest of which dates to 1496, on loan from the Museum of Fine Arts at Florida State University. Featured artists include Salvador Dalí, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and many other internationally recognized figures.

In addition, the Ralph & Jean Hurst Gallery will host a supporting multimedia exhibit offering insights about traditional printmaking and printing processes. Both exhibits run through December 13.

Guided group tours of the galleries are available on a first-come, first-served basis Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well as Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at 3:30 p.m. All tours are free of charge and must be scheduled in advance.

Gallery open Monday through Friday, 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Gallery is closed during college holidays and on weekends. Admission is free.

Public Reception on Thursday, October 11, TCC Fine Art Gallery, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
