Art as Social Commentary presents three thought provoking exhibitions of art intended to drive social change, with work by internationally exhibiting artists Mark Messersmith and Carrie Ann Baade, and work by six of their students.
Experience Art as Social Commentary and enjoy an evening of food and live music on the historic courthouse square in Quincy on Friday, September 28 at 6pm. Art as Social Commentary presents three thought provoking exhibitions of art intended to drive social change, with work by internationally exhibiting artists Mark Messersmith and Carrie Ann Baade, and work by six of their students from Florida State University. Along with the opening reception at Gadsden Arts, with refreshments and artist’s talks at 6:30pm, Quincy Main Street will present its first Food Truck Friday on the courthouse square, and Damfino’s Café and Market will offer wine, tapas, and desserts until 9pm.
Suggested admission $5, members and children admitted free.
