Crocheting with Courtney: Reusable Grocery Tote

Participants will learn to read an intermediate crochet pattern and can take this pattern home to create more totes. This can be a great tote bag for your grocery shopping, trips to farmer’s markets or a personalized gift.

Stitches You Will Use

-single crochet

-double crochet

Materials for this class are not provided. Please bring with you:

-For class bring 20 grocery bags. To complete this project at home you will need 40 to 50 grocery bags total (to make the plarn).

*Note that you may need more or less depending on your personal 

preference for the bag height*

-Size K, L or N crochet hook (the bigger the hook the looser the weave)

-Large Eye Blunt Sewing Needle

-4 Large Buttons for tote handle decoration (optional)
