Enjoy a rousing concert of gospel and inspirational music by the Capital Chordsmen and their quartets.
The award-winning Capital Chordsmen Barbershop Harmony Chorus, directed by Byron Poore, and their quartets will perform a newly revamped one-hour program of gospel and inspirational music relating to the theme “We Have an Anchor” at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4362 Lafayette St., Marianna , FL 32446 on Sunday, Sep 9 at 4:00 pm. The concert is free and open to the public. No reservations needed. The classic barbershop style, (4 part, acapella arrangements) stirs the heart and soul, gets spirit moving, and has you singing silently along with the songs you know.
Among other songs, the one-hour concert will include Down to the River to Pray, I’m Feeling Fine, When I Lift Up My Head, Ride the Chariot, Your First Day in Heaven, No More Sorrow, and many other familiar psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, sung in the Barbershop Harmony Style. The family-oriented concert also features a rousing audience sing-along.
