Actor's Workshop with Michael Richey

Actor's Workshop with Michael Richey

Presented by Southern Shakespeare Company and Goodwood Museum & Gardens at Goodwood Museum and Gardens

Creative visualization is the cognitive process of generating mental imagery, with eyes open or closed, simulating or recreating visual perception. Visualization is a powerful tool for affecting the psychophysical being of the actor.

This workshop will focus on this specific approach to performance, working on the actor’s ability to be truthful and engaging.

Michael Richey, who most recently directed SOUTHERN SHAKESPEARE’S COMPANY’S 2018 Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Romeo and Juliet, leads this performance workshop.
