Women in Music: Benefiting Refuge House

Women in Music: Benefiting Refuge House

Presented by Young-Peiskee Flute/Piano Duo at Christ Presbyterian Church

The Young-Peiskee Flute/Piano Duo will present a program of striking and beautiful music by female composers in a benefit recital for Refuge House of Leon County. We hope to encourage people to donate to Refuge House in support of their mission: to provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to their children and families, as well as eliminate such violence through community education and public advocacy.

The program will include works by Lili Boulanger, Mel Bonis, Sofia Gubaidulina, Ellen Taafe Zwilich, and Amanda Harberg.

Any donations will be given directly to the Refuge House. The event will be live-streamed as well.

Donations may be made here or at the door: http://refugehouse.com/support/
