Under the batons of Michael Grant, music director, and Lisa M. Foltz, associate conductor, the Capital City Band of TCC will be playing a variety of patriotic music guaranteed to inspire you to fly your flag on July 4th. Among the evening's selections the group will be featuring works by iconic American composers Leonard Berstein and Leroy Anderson; performing selections from one of the most patriotic Broadway musicals, "1776"; honoring those who have served and serve in our armed forces with a musical salute; give the audience the opportunity to stretch their vocal chords with a sing-along; and end the concert with the most patriotic march of all time, Sousa's "Stars and Stripes". Not only will the music fill your patriotic soul, there will be goodies to fill your tummy. Come out to support the Senior Center with your $5.00 admission.
