A comprehensive clay workshop for teachers wanting to expand their use of clay in the classroom.
This three-day course is for art teachers wanting to learn more about ceramics. Classes will include how to use an electric kiln, discussion on materials, and use of studio equipment. In addition, participants will have studio time to work on their own projects. All materials are included. At the end of the session, teachers should feel confident about using their kilns and pursing projects in their classrooms with clay. Class size is limited to four so instruction is personalized to each participant’s needs.

How much and what types of glazes you should stock. Introduction to extruders, slab rollers, tile press, tools and wheel throwing.
Three sessions are offered: June 8-10; June 22-24; July 27-29
Other sessions available if you have three or more to book.
Classes are $100 per person. There is 20% discount if you book a full class (four participants).
