The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park invites you to join us as we celebrate Earth Day.
Earth Day 2018 will focus on mobilizing the world to end plastic pollution. Maclay Gardens will participate in this civic engagement event by hosting a chalk walk and scavenger hunt on Sunday, April 22nd. The theme for the chalk walk will be "The Real Florida". Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each age group, as well as for Best In Show. Our Florida Conservation Corps members will lead the Scavenger Hunt in the afternoon. There will also be a "Say No to the Plastic Straw" pledge booth. So come learn how you can do your part to help our planet and enjoy some fun activities too!
