As you may know, Blue Tavern hosts a multitude of music styles and genres, but our real love is down home blues. This is our way of promoting blues in the community and providing a fun – small scale – festival for everyone to enjoy. We're inviting local blues performers as well as a couple of regional acts to fill two stages, one inside and one outside, for an all day rain-or-shine festival. Our kitchen will be open, supplemented by food truck fare, and the entire back alley will be cleared for a crowd. Lawn chairs encouraged. Bring some extra money for CDs and other merchandise!
The lineup includes Avis Berry, Charles Atkins & his New Blue Band, Brett Wellman & Chris Balding, Darryl Steele and friends, Belmont & Jones, Caleb Vaughn, Frank Lindamood, Jon Copps, and Gainesville's favorite blues band – the Bridget Kelly Band!
