Learn to use value and color in oil or acrylics with Manon Sander.
Learn how to use value and color, the two most important components of making a painting sing. You will use value to describe a light situation and will learn everything about color mixing you need to know in order to use color with intent, including how to mix luminous colors, beautiful grays and how to avoid muddiness or chalkiness. There will be plenty of demos, step-by-step exercises and lots of easel time. Medium: Oils preferred. Acrylics acceptable. Skill level: Working knowledge of the medium beneficial.
