St. George Island Paint Out is the premier plein air painting festival for the island.
The inaugural St. George Island Paint Out will be held April 8th thru the 14th. Come watch 15 artists from South Florida to Maine painting en plein air on the Island from Sike’s Cut to the state park. Or sign up for half-or full-day artist workshops held by Natalia Andreeva, Randy Pitts, Joan Vienot, Craig Reynolds, Catherine Hillis and Ed Nickerson. Throughout this special week, you can chat with the artists and enjoy complimentary appetizers and a cash bar at the meet-and-greets held each evening at popular St. George Island restaurants. And it all culminates with a finalé reception & art show on Saturday, in the beautiful St. George Plantation Clubhouse, where you can see and purchase all the paintings produced during the St. George Island Paint Out. Everyone is invited but must rsvp since space is limited.

Plein air artist will be painting all over St. George Island from April 8-14. Every morning, the artists locations will be posted on a chalkboard at the St. George Island Visitor Center, next to the lighthouse.
