As part of the Museum’s 40th anniversary exhibit, Living the Dream-Twentieth-Century Lu Vickers will discuss Florida landmark Cypress Gardens: America’s Tropical Wonderland.
The program begins with light refreshments in the Museum lobby at 5:30 p.m., and the presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Heritage Hall Auditorium. The History Shop and Museum galleries will remain open until 8:00 p.m., providing an additional opportunity to view the Living the Dream exhibit. Ms. Vickers will be available to sign books before and after her presentation.
Ms. Vickers is the author of several books on Florida history, including Weeki Wachee, City of Mermaids, and Cypress Gardens: America’s Tropical Wonderland.
The program, admission, and parking are free.
