Artist League Summer Annual

Artist League Summer Annual

Presented by Museum of Fine Arts at FSU at Museum of Fine Arts, Florida State University

The 30th Artists’ League Summer Annual, The Artful Nude, opens at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts, on Friday, May 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Work in the exhibition represents the “nude” in a myriad of interpretations, media, and style.

The Artists’ League of the FSU MoFA is a special membership of the Museum, a community of local and regional artists from long-time professionals to those who are just entering the field.  The membership of the League consists of artists in every category of art or fine craft.  The Summer Annual reflects the variety of artwork produced by its members.

The wife and husband team, Janice Hartwell and Bob Burke, will jury the exhibition.  Jurying takes place from actual artwork, not digital images.  Ms. Hartwell is Professor Emerita of the FSU Studio Art Department.  Mr. Burke is an artist and Museum Exhibit Designer.  Monetary awards will be given.
