Creative Tallahassee 2018 Exhibition Reception

Creative Tallahassee 2018 Exhibition Reception

Presented by Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) at City Hall Galleries

Celebrate the skill, talent, ingenuity and creativity of some of the most exciting artists in the Big Bend area. Highlighted in this multi-media show is the work of many established and emerging local artists. This highly-anticipated annual, juried exhibition features 54 paintings, drawings, photographs, textiles, and sculptures.

The competition was steep. There were more than 230 individual artworks submitted this year by 87 artists (the most ever). From those, 50 artists were selected by a special jury to have their work shown in this year’s Creative Tallahassee.

Those artists are:
AJ Abellera, Natalia Andreeva, Maria Balingit, Debra Brienen, Randy Brienen, Jeremy Buckner, Adrienne Carrion, Riko Carrion, Leslie Cohen, Steve Coleman, Terrie Corbett, James Daniels, Fran Dellaporta, Sandy DeLopez, Jenn Egelfeld, April Fitzpatrick, Neil Fletcher, Brenda Francis, Thomas Friedman, Elizabeth George, Alexa Harkness, Sharon Hester, Bill Humphries, Jennifer Joseph, Ann Kawamoto, Jennifer Lange, Mary Sterner Lawson, Mary Jane Lord, Janice "Ecinja" McCaskill, Bucky McMahon, Ken Misner, Yoshiko Murdick, NED, Elvi Nichols, Ruth Nickens, Rob Nixon, Chris Nolan, Lesley Nolan, Charles Ouimet, Erica Passage, Kate Piretti, Roger Raepple, Susan Richardson, Jim Russell, Robert DeWitt Smith, Anne Stagg, Mikiko Tanaka, Mary Liz Tippin-Moody, Doell West, and Tavani Williams.
