Gadsden Arts Expansion Grand Opening

Presented by Gadsden Arts Center & Museum at Gadsden Arts Center & Museum

Come celebrate the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum’s Expansion Grand Opening! Hear a presentation by distinguished guests from Florida’s cultural community, including Zoe Golloway (Gadsden Arts Founding Director), Sandy Shaughnessy (Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs Director), Malinda Horton (Florida Association of Museums Director), and Ranie Suber Thompson (Gadsden Arts Board President).

Experience exhibitions in five galleries, including the new Thornton Dial, Sr. Works on Paper exhibition in the Bates Permanent Collection Gallery, and ongoing Florida Watercolor Society exhibition in the Sara May Love Gallery. Enjoy making prints in the new ArtZone drop-in studio, and tour "behind the scenes" in the museum’s collections care areas. Before you leave, buy art and fine crafts in the expanded, redesigned Jean Gard Fletcher Museum Shop. Thursday, February 22, 6-8pm, presentation at 6:15pm, refreshments provided.
